Aujourd’hui je vous parle d’une de mes illustrations préférée : Little piggy.
Il s’agit d’une aquarelle sur papier 300gr format A3.
Elle représente une jeune fille dans un style lolita avec des cheveux verts coiffés de tresses et d’une couronne de cristal. Elle tient dans ses bras un petit cochon rose. Le fond est décoratif avec des éléments abstraits à la fois rayonnant et répétitifs. On y retrouve de nouveaux mes fameux cubes qui semblent voler autour de cercles lumineux. On peut voir comment mon obsession des motifs intègre ce dessin.
Pour certains le sujet peut sembler incongru, comment peut on avoir des sentiments pour un animal qui n’est autre qu’un morceau de viande ? Mais pour moi, il est naturel de ressentir des sentiments envers des êtres vivants et même non vivants (vu que je ressens des sentiments devant des oeuvres d’art). Le cochon n’est pas forcément un symbole de “cochonneries” sales et dégoûtantes.
Je dessine beaucoup de jeunes filles avec des animaux, je ne sais pas vraiment pourquoi pour tout dire, mais il y a quelque chose de rassurant pour moi à représenter cette connivence mêlée d’affection.

J’ai dessiné le fond à part, pour le préparer du mieux que je pouvais.
Avec les répétitions et les motifs, je me suis aidée d’un calque pour reporter le fond sur le papier.

J’aime aussi dessiner des animaux “mignons” et rassurants c’est pourquoi j’arrive à créer des gammes pour la cible de l’enfant (étendue bien sûr à l’adulte comme moi).
