En 2017, je me suis inspirée de la Mésopotamie pour créer une série d’oeuvres d’Art Textile.
Ce projet est né au moment où j’animais des ateliers d’art textile à l’Académie d’Art Plastique d’Epinal, une association locale d’arts plastiques. J’ai eu envie de proposer de travailler autour d’un thème commun qui donnerait sur une exposition, après une première en 2016. Le thème que nous avions choisi était “rêves d’Orient”. L’année d’après, j’ai pu faire revivre l’exposition de mon travail grâce à des ateliers d’art textile donnés à des élèves de lycée dans le cadre de cours d’Histoire. Après la présentation de ma démarche, les lycéens étaient invités à s’inspirer d’une oeuvre archéologique antique et de créer une interprétation plastique textile, accompagnée d’une démarche écrite.
