J’ai tout simplement pris le parti de dessiner des visages féminins dans tous les sens, donnant un aspect “sens dessus dessous”.

J’aime beaucoup dessiner ce genre de visages dans un trait fin. J’ai d’abord créé un fond de couleurs douces et pastelles à l’aquarelle sur lequel j’ai enchevêtré ces visages.

Je dessine la plupart du temps à partir de modèle de visages qui me plaisent et m’inspirent, généralement issus de mannequins type agence. J’aime beaucoup ce style et j’ai remarqué qu’il était loin de faire l’unanimité. Et finalement cela donne un intérêt encore plus grand à mon besoin de dessiner cela.

Cela peut paraître cliché, mais je ressens souvent cette pression misogyne autour de moi au travers de réflexions que j’entends, même quand elles ne me sont pas adressées directement. Non seulement cela m’agace, mais je trouve que philosophiquement c’est une façon de voir la vie opposée à la mienne et mes idéaux.

Comme le fait d’affirmer le droit à l’existence de certaines femmes, dans leur fragilité, sensibilité, délicatesse et mystère. Je suis vraiment favorable à la sensibilité (des femmes et des hommes) et du coup totalement opposée au fait que celle ci soit sans arrêt persécutée, attaquée ou abusée.

J’ai longtemps fréquenté des personnes qui aimaient également la sensibilité, mais qui ne l’aimait que pour la dominer. Ce qui n’est pas mon propos. Si je dessine des personnages aux allures ingénues, romantiques ou tristes, ce n’est jamais pour exciter le bourreau mais au contraire pour leurs droits d’exister en tant que telles (et non objet de quelqu’un). Beaucoup de gens préfèrent des images de femmes souriantes, mais personnellement j’y vois souvent des présentations powerpoint ennuyants dans des bureaux de communication de publicitaires.

Je pense sincèrement qu’une civilisation raffinée, éduquée et cultivée est plus épanouissante et riche que lorsqu’on prône des valeurs de barbarie, de violence gratuite, matérielles, de mensonges et d’abus en tout genre. En revanche je suis totalement pour défendre mes valeurs par la violence, car pour moi la défense n’est pas gratuite. J’ai été trop longtemps dans le pardon des bourreaux et l’accablement des victimes comme on me l’a bien appris sagement et franchement ça ne m’a jamais amené à quelque chose de positif mais maintenant c’est oeil pour oeil et dents pour dents. On peut tout à fait être sensible et combattant.

Mes deux autres dessins à l’encre de Chine sur peinture aquarelle et acrylique peuvent se présenter dans deux sens : haut et bas (au lieu de multiples pour “misogynist’s nightmare”). Cela peut évoquer la figure du personnage de cartes à jouer que j’aime assez. L’exposition avait lieu à la galerie du Bailli d’Epinal. Elle démarrait le 3 juin 2016 et finissait le 11. Lors du vernissage j’ai remporté le troisième prix correspondant au prix “Espoir”. Ce qui était une totale surprise et pris comme un encouragement voire un désir de voir mon travail s’épanouir.
